At Colourhill Kitchens and Bedrooms, we specialise in British bespoke furniture made in our own local Lincolnshire factory. One of the main benefits of this for our clients is we can manufacture non-standard sizes where needed. And, because we do it ourselves, we can achieve this without the price tag more typically associated with comparable, genuinely customised furniture. With full control over our products and manufacturing, we always do our best to keep the cost down, and as skilled craftsmen, we can design and build whatever is needed to bring you the design you want, and within the space you have available.
Colourhill Kitchen Cabinets: Why choose a British kitchen over a German kitchen?
German kitchens have a well-deserved reputation for excellence, and we fully agree they are experts in delivering high quality, functional and aesthetically pleasing products …yet at Colourhill Kitchens and Bedrooms, we also know we can do this better! For example, compared with German kitchen furniture which typically has an 8mm or 16mm backboard, we use 18mm thick backboards for the entire carcass, resulting in a more robust and better-quality end-product. We also make our kitchens locally in our Nottinghamshire factory, which means shorter lead times for our clients. This also gives us full control over the manufacturing process, ranging from measurements, quality and ultimately price, as we can deliver better quality for better prices, on a comparable German kitchen.

In addition, whilst we know our British kitchen furniture is better than German, we also believe our designs are better because we include German kitchen fixtures and fittings! Whether hinges and draw runners, we have tried them all over the years in supplying both our factory and the wider industry too, and through experience, we recognise that German ‘Blum’ and ‘Hettich’ manufacture the best hinges. And so, by including them within our kitchens, we are certain we are giving our clients the very best of both worlds, for the very best kitchen or bedroom design!!

Second Nature, also known as PWS Kitchens, is a leader in innovative and high-quality kitchen furniture. They offer a wide range of contemporary, classic and modern kitchen designs to suit different tastes and settings. This includes popular kitchen styles such as traditional in-frame and shaker, as well as modern handleless doors in gloss, matt, wood or stone. You also have the option of paint-to order door colours. Second Nature kitchens are customisable to suit a range of spaces, budgets, and styles, and here at Colourhill Kitchens, we can know we can design and manufacture nearly anything you can think of!

When it comes to kitchen and bedroom doors, you can choose from our wide range of styles and finishes, available to view in our showroom. Ensuring we can offer the right product to meet our customers’ needs, we have doors available from a choice of suppliers; Ranging from standard to high end and premium finishes, the diversity of our collections means we can work to any project budget. Alternatively, if needed we can make bespoke kitchen doors for you in our own Nottinghamshire factory. Available in custom sizes and any colour, this means our designers can create inspired designs without limitations.
